Molly Tarlov

Molly Tarlov has been an American actress since 2011 and is best known for her character Sadie Saxton, the star of Awkward an teen drama comedy show on television. Tarlov was was raised in Manhattan, New York, as the younger of two daughters. In the year she turned 10 She began her acting career in the production Bye Bye Birdie, at Little Red School House. The group of 7th graders who were in the theater highly impressed. She spent summers studying at NYU Tisch and Interlochen Center for the Arts. She trained in a range of different styles of acting, and graduated with her bachelor of Arts in Theatre at Bennington College. The Atlantic Theater Company is the place where she studied. In the LAByrinth Theater Master Class, Molly could integrate writing into her acting. Molly exchanged her black winter jacket in exchange for a pair of black sunglasses and made her way out to Los Angeles. Her quick rise to fame was when she landed a three word role on iCarly that attracted a lot of attention by her family and friends. Since then, she's been on TV in a variety of roles. She has also created the character Caitlin in Winnie Holzman's ABC Family show Huge. Molly likes to think she's good at basketball even though she isn't. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
