Claire Elise Boucher (/bu:'SeI/ boo-SHAY born on March 17, 1988) who is also known as Grimes is a Canadian performer, singer music producer, and songwriter. Initial work can be classified as "lo-fi R&B to futuristic dance-pop",[4and influenced by electronic, hip-hop, and rock. The majority of her songs are based on science-fiction themes and feminist topics. Grimes has released five studio albums. Grimes was raised in Vancouver, and then moved to Montreal around 2000. Grimes started releasing her songs as a solo artist from the mid 2000s. Two albums were released by Arbutus Records in 2010, Geidi Primes as well as Halfaxa in 2010. Following her joining 4AD and gaining fame by releasing Visions, her third studio album. Visions contains the singles "Genesis," and "Oblivion", which was selected for nominations to"the" Juno Award of the Canadian Music Industry for Electronic Album of the Years. Her fourth studio album Art Angels was released in the year 2015. The album received high marks from reviewers and numerous newspapers voted for it to be the best album. The fifth studio album Miss Anthropocene, was released in 2020. Grimes was also an actor and judge in Alter Ego's musical competitions played a part as vocalist as part of Cyberpunk 2077 which was released in the year 2020. Georges Georges Georges
